Consideration Station

The One-Stop Shop for What You’ll Need to Remember for Purchasing Your Manufactured Home

  • Look into which independent retailer will be best for you when it comes to purchasing the best model for you.
  • Decide whether you’ll be living in a manufactured home community or if you’ll be placing a home on your own private land. This will help you consider details such as property taxes, and local zoning regulations. Need land? A local retailer can help with that!
  • Consider your budget, since this will help guide many of the decisions you’ll be making.
  • Found the model that’s calling your name? Consider the specs that matter to you: single section or multi-section? Number of beds and baths?

Buying a manufactured home is a great option if you’re looking for quality blended with affordability.
  • Think about your utilities: figure out who the providers are for each utility service and think about your rough out-of-pocket cost for each.
  • Arrange the down payment and financing. Work with a retailer who can assist in making this process smooth.
  • Get things ready as your home is being built! Furnishing and infusing your new home with your personal home décor style will give you the personable flair you need.

When it comes to buying a manufactured home, whether you’re a first-time home buyer or getting your third castle, don’t overthink it. At Champion, we’ve done most of the hard work for you, to make buying your dream home easier than ever before. Ready to start your home buying process? Talk to an independent retailer today!

The Cost of A Manufactured Home

Figuring Out How to Price Your Dream Home

Imagine this: you’ve been perusing through the Champion® Homes Instagram page, looking at some of the models posted until you stop. There it is. There are only 4 photos of it posted in the carousel, but that’s all you needed anyway. This is the home you want. Well, at least you think it is. You need to know the details before you can be sure. Eager and ready to make a move, you type a single-worded question…

“Price?”

But what you might not be aware of is the fact that pricing for factory-built homes is a process that depends on the home, location and your dream preferences! Here’s a transparent look into what that process entails that will help with an understanding of factory-built home pricing.

So first, let’s start with the obvious base price: the home itself. This price varies depending on details like home size, spec level and personalization options you may choose.

Then we consider things like location. At Champion Homes, we sell our homes through a network of independent retailers who work directly with customers looking to purchase a home. The customer’s price comes from an independent retailer in your area. For example, additional costs for installing and finishing your home will be provided by your local retailer.
